Every programmer who worked on Windows platform might have struggled with MFCs or Windows API to design GUI for their applications. Those might have worried, how if we shift to systems of different platforms like, linux, unix or macintosh. Basically every platform has its own wa of building interfaces. Now this interface development has been generalised by Trolltech.
QT is a generic class library that can be used to build GUI applications accross various platforms like Windows, Unix/X11, macintosh and embedded systems. It has been developed in C++ and commercialised in 1996. Highly interactive user interfaces can be designed using this class library. Find more about it at www.trolltech.com
